I’m Alex, a French artist based near Annecy, in the French Alps.

Before painting, I spent more than ten years working with photography and visual design. Over time, I felt the need to return to something slower, more physical and more direct, which eventually led me to painting.

My work is mainly inspired by landscapes, lakes, mountains, blue hour, summer evenings and the quiet moments that happen just before night.

I’m particularly drawn to simple compositions, deep blues, distant lights and places that feel familiar but slightly removed from everyday life.

Every painting is created by hand in my studio in Savoie.
