Some landscapes have a way of completely changing our sense of scale.

This painting reminds me of a trip through the Dolomites, where the mountains felt almost impossibly large. Standing beneath those cliffs made me realise how small we are compared to the landscape around us.

With this painting, I wanted to recreate that feeling through a small tent facing a massive cliff, surrounded by deep blues and a few soft pink lights still visible in the distance.

Humble is about that feeling of being very small in front of something much bigger than us.
