I’ve always been drawn to snowy landscapes and the particular atmosphere they create.
There is something about winter that changes the way a place feels. The snow softens everything, the sounds seem to disappear, and even familiar landscapes become quieter and more peaceful.
With this painting, I wanted to capture that feeling through a small chalet beside a river, surrounded by snow. A simple place, isolated from the noise, where everything seems to slow down.
Winter Silence is about my love for cold landscapes, and for the calm and stillness that only winter seems to create.
